As a responsible service provider and agency, we will always work towards “being the best we can be” by offering quality services that are yet flexible and meet the ever-changing needs of the persons we serve and of the system which supports them.

To assure the long-term security and stability of our agency, we will maintain fiscally responsible services to provide financial stability within our organization.

We will provide a combination of support, assistance and the encouragement needed to allow each person served to fulfill their life goals and dreams.

Our History

In the fall of 2000, Ballard J. Wireman and Becky S. Mahl had a vision. Through the years the two friends had kept in close touch, both working in the field of developmental disabilities. Each had various positions throughout the years and long- term stability at the agencies which they worked. Whether it was a Live-In Staff Position, Direct Support Staff, House Manager, QDDP or an Administrative Position, they were skilled veterans. It was that moment in time to move forward.

When We Became
Established

Partners In Opportunities, Inc. was incorporated in October 2001. Our Medicaid Waiver Services Application was approved on July 25, 2002. Our agency eagerly began serving our first individual on October 21, 2002. We were supporting four individuals as 2002 came to a close.

Our Growth

Over the years our number of individuals served has grown. So did our geographic area. Today we support 90 individuals throughout the State of Indiana with our corporate office located in South Bend.
